Eiffel Tower Tours, the Best Way to Skip the Queue!
A great way to skip the queue and enjoy a visit to the Eiffel Tower is booking one of the Eiffel tower tours available through many local travel agencies.
Apart from visiting the Eiffel Tower accompanied by a professional tour guide, one can enjoy other Paris attractions, or dine in one of the Eiffel Tower restaurants.
If a visit to Paris is only going to last several days, choosing one of the Eiffel Tower tours would be a great option.
I remember planning our first Paris vacation. We wanted to see as many Paris landmarks and tourist attractions as we could. So we were looking for a tour that was including a visit to the Eiffel Tower, a tour of Versailles, and perhaps, a Seine river cruise. Did we wanted too much?
Then we came across a local travel agency called Paris Trip. They specialize in organizing Paris sightseeing tours, as well as day trips from Paris. They had the tour we were looking for, and we’ve found a lot of positive reviews about their tours, so we booked it.
Years have gone by, and we are still using Paris Trip for our tours. We had enjoyed Seine river cruises, visits to Versailles, the magic of the wonderful Loire Valley castles, dinners at Moulin Rouge, and lunches at the Eiffel Tower.
When it comes to local travel agencies, we highly recommend Paris Trip. Scroll down for a list of the nicest Eiffel Tower tours.
Eiffel Tower and Seine River Cruise Tours
These are among the most popular Eiffel Tower tours. The duration is about 4 hours and a half, and includes an hour-long Seine River cruise, and an Eiffel Tower visit with a dinner in the 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant. Notable here is that you will be picked up and dropped off at your accommodation in Paris. Transport is provided in air-conditioned minibus.
The tours start daily at 18:00 hours. First, you are taken on a Seine River cruise where under the bridges of Seine you discover Paris and its monuments.
You are guided then to the Eiffel Tower, where skipping the queue, you are escorted and seated at the 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant for a three-course meal. It’s a nice restaurant 58 meters above ground level (hence its name) with great views of Paris.
Another great thing about these Eiffel Tower tours is that they can be booked directly online. More information and reviews are available at Cruise & Dinner at the Eiffel Tower.
Eiffel Tower and Paris City Tours
They are about 4 hours long and include a 2-hour sightseeing in Paris. You are picked up at your hotel or apartment and guided through the city’s most interesting places – Champs-Elysees, Arch of Triumph, Concorde Square, Invalides, Eiffel Tower and Trocadero, The Opera, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, Orsay Museum, Madeleine Church.
This nice little tour is followed by a lunch in the 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower – no wasting time to queue for Eiffel Tower tickets, of course.
The tours are offered all year round and start daily at 09:30 hours.
More information is available at Paris Orientation Tour + Lunch at the Eiffel Tower.
Eiffel Tower, Paris City Tour, and Seine River Cruise Tours
These Eiffel Tower tours naturally start with the guide picking you up from your accommodation. Then you are escorted on a 2-hour long city tour – Champs-Elysees, Arch of Triumph, Concorde Square, Invalides, Eiffel Tower and Trocadero, The Opera, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, Orsay Museum, Madeleine Church.
Following this city tour, you are dropped off at the Eiffel Tower where you have a three-course meal while enjoying the views of Paris from the 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant. Amazing!
When you are done with your lunch at the Eiffel Tower, you are taken on an hour-long Seine River Cruise, where you discover Paris from a different perspective. The tour ends at the cruise.
The duration of these tours is approximately 5 hours, they are available all year round, and start daily from 09:30 hours. More on these tours is available at Paris Orientation Tour + Lunch at the Eiffel Tower + Cruise.
All in all, booking one of the Eiffel Tower tours will save you a lot of time. You avoid queuing for Eiffel Tower tickets, you visit another Paris attraction, and on top of it you are spoiled by a professional tour guide. A fabulous option, I would say. Enjoy it to the full!
